Political analyst Daniel Bwala has cautioned Peter Obi against agreeing to run as a vice-presidential candidate in the 2027 elections, stating it would be a grave political misstep.

According to Bwala, Obi’s supporters widely known as the 'Obidient' movement back him solely on the premise that he will run for president, not settle for a secondary role.

In his words: “Peter Obi would be making the biggest mistake of his life if he accepts to become a running mate. The 'Obidient' movement has only one agreement with him: that he will contest as president.”
