Bayelsa Governor Not Responsible for Nengi’s Pregnancy – Aide Dismisses Rumors

The Director-General of New Media to the Bayelsa State Governor, Samuel Oredipe, has debunked viral reports claiming Governor Diri Duoye is responsible for the pregnancy of reality TV star, Nengi Hampson.

Social media was flooded with speculation on February 10, alleging that the 27-year-old, who was appointed as Senior Special Assistant on Girl Child Development in 2020, was expecting the governor’s child.

Reacting via Facebook, Oredipe dismissed the claims as "fake news" spread by "wicked people," insisting that Nengi and the governor have "no personal relationship."
