Ayodele Fayose has called on Seyi Makinde to refund ₦30 billion allegedly released by the federal government 

Speaking during a recent interview on TVC, Fayose alleged that Makinde actually received ₦50 billion from the federal government following the explosion. 

He further claimed that the money did not enter the coffers of the Oyo State Government, insisting the governor should return the funds with interest.

Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State, argued that intervention funds meant for disaster victims must be accounted for transparently, adding that Nigerians deserve clarity on how such emergency funds are handled
