Atiku Reportedly Offers Peter Obi VP Slot in 2027
Former VP Atiku Abubakar has reportedly offered Peter Obi, Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, the vice-presidential slot for the 2027 election.
Atiku promises to serve only one term and hand over power to Obi after four years.
The offer was first discussed privately earlier this year in the UK. Obi, who was Atiku’s running mate in 2019, agreed in principle but seeks time to consult his supporters.
