APC’s Ajibola Basiru Mocks Opposition's Coalition Talks, Calls Tinubu a Master Strategist
The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajibola Basiru, has dismissed the recent efforts by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other opposition figures to form a political alliance against President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
Basiru argued that such an alliance stands little chance against President Tinubu, whom he described as a veteran in coalition-building.
He referenced Tinubu’s role in the historic National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), which he said played a crucial role in the fight for democracy in Nigeria.
