Aide Denies Ex Governor’s Involvement in Coup Plot 

Julius Bokoru, Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs to Timipre Sylva, former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, has confirmed that soldiers conducted raids on the ex-governor’s homes in Abuja and Bayelsa State.

Bokoru, however, dismissed reports linking Sylva to an alleged coup attempt against President Bola Tinubu’s administration, describing the claims as false and politically motivated.
