Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint‑Germain and Morocco has been named the 2025 CAF Men’s Player of the Year at the awards ceremony in Rabat.
He beat out finalists Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Victor Osimhen (Nigeria) to claim the top prize.
Hakimi made history as the first defender in over five decades to win the award and the first Moroccan to do so since 1998
