16 Prospective NYSC Members Feared Dead in Ondo
An 18 seater bus transporting prospective NYSC members from Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo State, has crashed on its way to the NYSC Orientation Camp in Gombe State.
According to early reports, 16 out of the 18 passengers mostly fresh graduates are feared dead, while the remaining two survivors are in critical condition.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred along a northern highway, after the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the fatal crash.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is expected to launch a full investigation into the cause of the accident. As of now, neither the NYSC nor the Presidency has issued an official statement regarding the incident.
