Cristiano Ronaldo has explained why his wedding to Georgina Rodríguez was kept extremely intimate and limited to family.

He said he would have loved to invite many more people but worried that leaving someone out could create hurt feelings and fuel unnecessary speculation online. Rather than risk anyone feeling excluded, he decided that not inviting anyone outside their closest circle was the fairest option.
