TRUMP SHARES CHILLING VIDEOS OF PRISONERS BEING TAKEN TO EL SALVADOR’S NOTORIOUS MEGA-PRISON!
US President Donald Trump has shared videos showing convicted criminals being sent to El Salvador’s notorious maximum-security prison, known as the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT). ????
Located in Tecoluca, El Salvador, the massive facility is designed to accommodate up to 40,000 inmates, with reports indicating that individual cells can hold between 65 and 70 prisoners. ????
Accompanying the footage, Trump wrote:
????️ “THIS IS WHERE WE SEND OUR KILLERS, DRUG DEALERS & THUGS.”
He also claimed that the approach is contributing to record-low murder rates and other crimes in the United States, stating:
“THIS IS WHY MURDER AND OTHER CRIMES IN AMERICA ARE AT RECORD LOWS.”
His post has once again drawn attention to the US approach to crime, deportation and the use of El Salvador’s high-security prison system.
