U.S. President Donald Trump sparked laughter after making a joke about having “very severe problems” and predicting how the media would react to his comments.

While explaining why he has stayed away from alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs for much of his life, Trump joked that he already had enough problems without adding three more to the list.

However, he quickly realised how his remarks might be interpreted by reporters and laughed that the media would probably begin investigating his supposed problems.

“I probably set myself up for that one,” Trump quipped, seemingly anticipating the headlines his comment could generate.
