Szczęsny Open to Stepping Aside for Ter Stegen's Return at Barcelona

Wojciech Szczęsny has expressed his openness to stepping aside should Marc-André ter Stegen return to reclaim his spot between the posts at Barcelona.

The Polish goalkeeper, who joined the club as a temporary replacement, emphasized that he has no issues with the idea of Ter Stegen resuming his role.

“I came to Barcelona to fill in for Ter Stegen, and I wouldn’t mind if he returns to take his place,” Szczęsny stated. “If the coach decides it’s time for the captain to come back and take charge in goal again, that’s completely fine with me.”
