Playing Oluchi wasn’t just another role for me. I gave it my all. I felt her pain, her love, her sacrifices… especially that moment when Aderonke ‘died.’ It felt like I lost a part of myself too.

 That scene wasn’t just acting, it came from a very deep place in my heart.
The way Oluchi cared for those children, loved them like her own, fought for them, even to the point of giving up her salary… that kind of love is rare. And I’m so happy people could see that through my performance.

One thing this movie reminded me is that family is not always by blood. Sometimes, the people who truly stand by you are the ones you never expected. And seeing Aderonke show up for Oluchi at her wedding… that moment was everything.
