A man is being hailed as a hero across France after risking his life to save six people, including two babies, from a raging fire in a Paris apartment building.
Fousseynou Cissé, 39, acted with remarkable bravery when he spotted smoke pouring from the sixth floor of a residential complex.
Without hesitation, he climbed onto a narrow exterior ledge and made his way to a window filled with smoke, where terrified residents were trapped inside.
Standing precariously on the ledge, Cissé urged those inside to hand him the children first. With careful coordination, he helped pass two infants to a nearby window where others were able to take them to safet
