Nigerian Engineer Designs Armored Vehicle “Begua” to Strengthen Security Efforts
A Nigerian engineer, Ibrahim Lawal Dankaba from Katsina State, has designed an innovative armored vehicle named “Begua”, built to support security forces and restore public confidence in the country’s troubled regions.
The locally built vehicle, which runs on tracked wheels, is engineered to withstand difficult terrains such as farmlands and muddy roads, making it suitable for deployment in rural and conflict prone areas.
According to Dankaba, the project began two years ago and has now reached the prototype testing stage, with a public demonstration scheduled soon.
