KING CHARLES MAKES HARRY & MEGHAN’S ROYAL STATUS CLEAR
King Charles III has confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will remain non-working royals despite their recent return to the United Kingdom after six years in the United States.
A letter issued on the King’s behalf clarified that the couple will not carry out official engagements representing the Crown. Any charitable or public work they undertake will remain in a private capacity.
Their return to Britain had sparked speculation about whether they might resume some form of official royal role, but the King’s latest clarification appears to put those questions to rest.
