Kalu Urges Ex-Lawmakers to Leverage Experience for National Growth at NFLF Inaugural Meeting

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has emphasized the importance of tapping into the experience of former legislators to aid in Nigeria’s development.

 According to him, ex-lawmakers hold valuable insights that can contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

Kalu made these remarks on Saturday during the first official meeting of the Nigerian Former Legislators Forum (NFLF), an initiative he founded, which held in Enugu State.

The event brought together several notable past legislators from various tiers of government, including former Senate Presidents Ken Nnamani and Anyim Pius Anyim, ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara, former Deputy Speaker Emeka Ihedioha, ex-Governor of Imo State Rochas Okorocha, and former Minister of Aviation Stella Oduah, among others.
