Falana Criticizes Sealing of Properties Without Court Approval, Cautions Against Abuse of Power

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) has strongly condemned the practice of sealing off premises without obtaining a court order. 

Falana warned that such actions by government agencies amount to executive lawlessness and violate constitutional rights.

 He emphasized that no authority has the legal power to shut down businesses or properties without following due legal procedures, urging the government to respect the rule of law and avoid unlawful enforcement tactics.
