Emmanuel Uduaghan Defends Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Amidst Allegations Against Akpabio

Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, husband of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has publicly defended his wife following her allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. 

In a recent interview on Arise TV, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, claimed that Akpabio made inappropriate advances towards her in both his office and residence in Akwa Ibom. This revelation follows a clash between the two regarding seating arrangements in the Senate.

In a statement released on Saturday, Uduaghan, who holds the title of Alema of Warri Kingdom, shared that his wife had confided in him about her interactions with Akpabio. He recounted a previous meeting with the Senate President, where he respectfully urged Akpabio to honor the courtesy and respect that his wife deserves, hoping to resolve the matter amicably.

"Despite our understanding, my wife continues to express concerns about the harassment she has endured," Uduaghan stated. He expressed unwavering faith in his wife's loyalty and emphasized his commitment to their marriage, which he described as grounded in love, compassion, and mutual respect. "I would never trade her for anything, as she is the greatest joy of my life," he added.
