Dangote Accuses Ex-Governor Amosun of Twice Demolishing His Cement Factory in Ogun

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has revealed that his cement factory in Ogun State was demolished twice under the administration of former Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

 Dangote made this statement during a meeting with the current state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on March 17, 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, which focused on expanding investment in manufacturing, oil, gas, and energy, Dangote recalled how his company faced setbacks during Amosun’s tenure.

"The factory we are visiting now in Itori was demolished twice under Amosun. We started building, and he demolished it. We tried again, and he brought it down, including the fence. So we left," Dangote said in a video that surfaced online.
