Allegations Arise After Wife Murder Suspect in Ikorodu Gains Bail 

In Ikorodu, Lagos State, the husband of late barrister Temitope Odu has reportedly been released on bail under questionable circumstances after allegedly strangling his wife to death in front of their child.

 The 56 year old lawyer, who was called to the bar just last month, was said to have died on October 14 following a dispute with her husband. 

She was held at arrest by the police at Adamo Police Station in Ikorodu, yet days later her colleagues discovered that the accused, Christian Odu, had been granted bail despite murder being an offence for which bail typically should not be issued.
