And the last thing a Black woman wants after facing the struggles of the world is to come home to a man who hasn’t been putting in any effort at all.”

A relationship should be a place of peace, support, and teamwork — not another battlefield. Both partners deserve someone who understands their struggles, shares their burdens, and makes life feel a little less heavy.
