Search Continues for Missing Persons in Southern Spain After Deadly Flash Floods
Emergency teams in southern Spain are actively searching for individuals feared missing following flash flooding that has resulted in at least 95 fatalities.
In response to the crisis, hundreds of soldiers have been deployed to Valencia, one of the regions most severely affected, to aid in rescue operations.
Many areas remain inaccessible, with some only reachable by helicopter.
Spain's King Felipe VI expressed concern over the "enormous destruction" to infrastructure, which has complicated access to several communities.
Local authorities have also issued alerts regarding the spread of misinformation online, particularly about the safety of tap water in Valencia.
