Ratan Tata, the renowned tycoon behind Jaguar, Land Rover, and Tetley, passed away earlier this month at the age of 86. In a surprising twist, his will reveals that he has provided for his beloved German shepherd, Tito, with instructions for "unlimited care."
Traditionally, Tata's estate, valued at approximately £91 million, would have been inherited by his siblings.
However, he chose to overlook his brother, Jimmy Tata, and half-sisters Shireen and Deanna Jejeebhoy in favor of Tito, his loyal companion. According to reports from the Times, Tata specified that his pooch, along with his butler, Konar Subbiah, and cook, Rajan Shaw, should receive significant portions of his fortune, while his siblings will inherit only a portion of the estate.
Tata's close friend, Suhel Seth, noted that the provisions for Tito's care, as well as for his former butler and cook, are exceptionally generous.
"They will never have to work again and will be very well looked after," Seth stated.
