President Tinubu Aims to Cut Governance Costs, Special Adviser Confirms

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, has announced that President Bola Tinubu is actively working to reduce the cost of governance in Nigeria.

In an interview on Wednesday night, following a significant cabinet reshuffle that involved the scrapping of some ministries and the merging of others, Onanuga emphasized the administration's commitment to fiscal responsibility. The reshuffle also saw the dismissal of certain ministers and changes in portfolios for others.

Onanuga revealed that President Tinubu will soon unveil measures aimed at reducing government expenditure, beginning with adjustments at the ministerial level.
