Ali Ndume, the lawmaker representing Borno South senatorial district, has urged President Bola Tinubu to dismiss additional underperforming ministers from his cabinet.
In a statement made on Saturday in Abuja, Ndume expressed concern over the performance of certain ministers, emphasizing the need for accountability and effectiveness within the administration. He praised Tinubu’s recent cabinet reorganization, particularly the establishment of the Ministry of Regional Development, which is tasked with managing regional commissions.
“We saw President Tinubu’s cabinet reshuffle last week, which was a masterstroke,” Ndume remarked. “More needs to be done as some ministers are still ‘missing in action.’”
The legislator expressed his approval of the streamlined approach to governance, noting that the President’s actions demonstrate a commitment to reducing the cost of governance while enhancing efficiency
