The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has pledged to restore electricity to Northern Nigeria within the next three days. This announcement came during a Senate inquiry on Tuesday regarding the ongoing power outages and frequent grid failures affecting the region and the nation as a whole.
Adelabu stated, “Power will be restored to the North in two to three days. We will use the Ugwuaji-Makurdi transmission line for temporary purposes.”
He assured senators that the ministry is collaborating with security agencies to access areas of the grid currently occupied by vandals.
Furthermore, he committed to completing repairs within the next 14 days, ensuring that power is fully restored to the North
