A new lawsuit alleges that a professional athlete intervened to prevent Sean “Diddy” Combs from sexually assaulting a luxury car businessman during a celebrity-filled launch party for Diddy’s Ciroc vodka brand in 2022. The alleged victim, referred to as “John Doe,” claims the incident occurred in a private office at the event.
According to court documents, the businessman, who operates a Los Angeles rental service for luxury cars and jewelry, asserts that Diddy invited him into his office, where the situation escalated. The suit claims that Diddy stripped off his pants and exposed himself, subsequently grabbing the plaintiff's genitals in a "rough and sexual manner." Shocked and disoriented, the alleged victim momentarily froze, unsure how to react to the inappropriate advance.
The alleged assault reportedly ended when an unnamed professional athlete, identified only as “Professional Athlete A,” entered the office and intervened. The businessman then fled the scene, leaving the party immediately afterward.
The alleged victim stated he attended the event after Diddy, a long-time customer, assured him that other high-profile guests from the music and entertainment industry would be present. He even captured a photo of Diddy sitting on a couch with other celebrities, although the identities of those in the image were blurred in the court filing.
This lawsuit is part of a series of civil cases filed against Diddy in the Southern District of New York, including allegations of a 2000 rape involving a 13-year-old during a VMAs afterparty. Diddy’s legal team has described these accusations as attempts to gain publicity, asserting confidence in their case and maintaining that he has never sexually assaulted anyone.
Diddy is currently in federal custody in Brooklyn, facing serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, to which he has pleaded not guilty. His legal representatives continue to emphasize their belief in his innocence as the legal proceedings unfold.
