I Will Not Marginalize Any Region in Nigeria –Bola Tinubu

Yesterday, Bola Tinubu, the incoming president, provided a hint as to how he will lead the country after taking office on May 29.

He ruled out the marginalization of any area and vowed to cooperate with all of the constituent parts for the greater good.

In his speech, Tinubu opened the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola Flyover Bridge, a project carried out by his host, Governor Nyesom Wike, in Port Harcourt, the state capital of Rivers.

Tinubu, who is on a two-day visit to the South South state, said: “I will not marginalize any region, but will leave legacy projects across the length and breadth of Nigeria.”

The President-elect praised Wike for his development efforts, praising him in particular for building 12 flyovers across the nation's capital and promising that history would be kind to him.

With his achievements, he claimed, Nigeria would require the outgoing governor of Rivers in higher positions.

Around 10 am, there was excitement as the plane carrying the new president touched down at Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa.
