The FCT Primary Healthcare Board has reported a diphtheria outbreak in the nation's capital, with an index case confirmed and one death recorded.
Dr Saddiq Abdurrahman, the Director of Public Health, disclosed this today at a media briefing in Abuja.
He mentioned that the outbreak prompted swift action, as an Emergency Operation Centre has been activated to combat the outbreak.
