The Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) has slammed politicians who have called for an interim national administration, calling them "irresponsible and mischievous people who do not mean well for the country".

BMO Secretary Cassidy Madueke and Chairman Niyi Akinsiju issued a statement commending the Department of State Services (DSS) for issuing a timely warning against "politicians plotting to obstruct the inauguration of President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu."

The group advised dissatisfied politicians to pursue constitutional remedies, such as testifying before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

BMO also expressed confidence in President Buhari's commitment to a seamless transition and the role of security services in protecting the country.
