The call, which took place at around 4 p.m. Nigerian time, was confirmed by Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar. During the discussion, the leaders addressed the release of Tigran Gambaryan, the Head of Finance Crime Compliance at Binance, and explored avenues for collaboration between U.S. and Nigerian law enforcement agencies.
Ambassador Tuggar noted that President Tinubu expressed gratitude for the ongoing partnership with the United States, particularly in matters of security across Africa and West Africa. President Biden emphasized the significance of this partnership, asserting that the future of the world hinges on Africa's development.
