Controversial rapper 50 Cent has broken his silence regarding the serious sexual trafficking and rape allegations against music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. This comes as Diddy faces a new wave of sexual assault lawsuits, including a shocking allegation that he drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl.
Diddy was arrested last month in Manhattan amid an investigation into alleged sex trafficking, with accusations that he drugged and assaulted victims as young as nine. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, commented on Diddy’s alleged behavior and reflected on his past mockery of Combs during concerts and online. He stated, “Look, it seems like I'm doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven't. It's really me just saying what I've been saying for ten years.”
The longstanding rivalry between the two rappers dates back to the 1990s, with 50 Cent never considering Diddy a friend. In 2006, he released the diss track "The Bomb," accusing Diddy of involvement in the 1997 murder of fellow artist Biggie Smalls. Diddy has faced persistent speculation about his knowledge of the deaths of both Biggie and Tupac, allegations he has consistently denied.
50 Cent has expressed feeling "a little uncomfortable" about Diddy for years and has announced plans to release a docuseries on Netflix that will delve into the sexual assault and violence allegations against Combs.
The docuseries aims to present a comprehensive narrative, stating, “This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far. We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives.”
Diddy is facing allegations of sexual abuse dating back to the 1990s, including claims related to the drugging of a 13-year-old girl in 2000 and the rape of a man in 2022.
