For a successful weight loss, one must indulge in a healthy calorie controlled diet and increased physical activity

Tips for a healthy weight loss;

Do not skip breakfast
Skipping your breakfast does not help you lose weight. Instead you miss out on essential nutrients  and you may end up snacking throughout the day because you feel hungry. This only adds to the extra calories you already have. In short do not starve.

Learn to enjoy your healthier and regular meals
Eating your regular meals at intervals during the day helps burn calories at a faster rate. It also reduces the temptation to snack on foods high in fat and sugar because you are not hungry.
Because fruits and veggies are low in calories and fat, you can eat them regularly. They are good for losing weight

Increase your physical activity
Physical exercise and being active is key to losing weight as well as preventing weight gain.
Find an activity you enjoy and are able to fit into your routine.

Drink plenty of water
Sometimes all you just need is a glass of water instead of consuming extra calories

Learn to use a smaller plate
You can eat smaller portions when you learn to use a smaller plate. It takes about 20 minutes for the stomach to tell the brain it's full, so eat slowly and stop eating before you feel full. When you eat smaller portion you gradually get used to eating smaller without going hungry. This helps to control the amount of calories you consume

Do not miss out on foods
Do not stop any foods from your weight loss plan, especially the ones you like. Stopping yourself from eating your favorite food will only make you crave them more. You can get to a limit where you can't ban your favorite food. At this point you consume too much and mess up your weight loss plan. You should be able to enjoy the occasional treat as long as you stay within your daily calorie allowance.

Cut down your alcohol intake
Alcohol consumption if not controlled can easily contribute to weight gain.
