WHERE IS TINUBU?

Since Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the 2023 Presidential election and became the president-elect, he has been on the low. Making Nigerians ask the question, WHERE IS TINUBU?

According to Reno Omokri who took to his twitter page and posted because of the silence from Asiwaju Tinubu, He twitted saying;

“Every year for the last 13 years, Bola Tinubu has loudly marked his birthday with the Bola Tinubu Colloquium. Now, after being declared President-elect by INEC, he suddenly cancles the 14th colloquium and disappears from public view during ramada? Where is Tinubu?

Where is Tinubu?

Where is Tinubu? What is the matter with him? Tinubu gave Umaru Yar’adua hell when he disappeared as Presidential candidate, as President-elect, and finally as President. Thus, Tinubu cannot disappear now and not expect us to ask the same questions he asked Yar’adua.

Recall on the 27th of March two days before his birthday Tinubu cancelled is his yearly birthday colloquium and opted to make his birthday, which was on the 29th of March used for special prayers and thanksgiving.

He said he could not celebrate his birthday during the period of Ramadan, which is never been known of him to do.

Many Nigerians are saying that he cancelled his birthday colloquium as a ploy to hide from something. After all, he has not really been seen in Nigeria for a while.

However, many people seem to think he is hiding something since his recent quiet behaviour maybe a health problem of sorts. Date back to when Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was the governor of Lagos state he was always on the headlines but now he has become unusually quiet.

Sources had reported that Tinubu fell ill ahead of the March 18 Lagos State governorship and House of Assembly elections and travelled out of the country.

 Last Thursday an update was provided on the situation of Tinubu leaving the country a top source said, “Tinubu is still in France hospital.”

Tinubu has been confirmed to be heading for Paris, France and the United Kingdom to rest and plan the transition programme, according to a statement by his spokesperson, Tunde Rahman.

Although Tinubu has not been totally silent he has been reaching out to reporters on how he will handle things when he comes to reign as president.

Meanwhile, speaking on his birthday, the “president-elect” said, “With such a privilege already granted to me, I will not go so far as to suggest I am due any birthday presents this year. I have already been given the greatest gift.

 â€œA chance to lead and fulfill destiny. An opportunity to champion your aspirations and to bring about the Nigeria of your dreams.

“I will, instead, use this day as an opportunity to reiterate my commitment to the great and important task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the hope of the Nigerian people. I campaigned hard and made important promises.”

 â€œThose promises were not mere words; professed glibly or cynically to win support. They represent a bond that binds me to the task of creating a better Nigeria for the benefit of every Nigerian, whether you voted for me or not,” he added. Tinbu gave all these speech while he is in a foreign land.

However Nigerians are scared that his reign should not be a repeat of President Muhamadu Buhari’s reign and he should fulfil all the promises he has made.
