Popular American media personality and broadcaster, Wendy Williams has been making rounds on social media and the press for a couple of days.
This follows up after news regarding her 'comeback' podcast being cancelled before it even saw the light of day surfaced last week.
In a recent publication from Page six however, it has been confirmed that the news regarding her podcast being cancelled is false, despite numerous reports and publications from famed media houses publishing otherwise.
Wendy Williams [58], had hosted her self-titled, nationally syndicated and controversial talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show" for nearly 14 years till it's sudden end in 2022 following series of health issues and concerns surrounding the media personality. Wendy's unending health issues affected the show's workflow and could not proceed. On June 17th 2022, the show's finalè aired with it's famed guest host, Sherri Shepherd piloting it's final run.
William's faced several backlash from Netizen's following publications from media houses centered around her ailing health condition, with most claiming that "karma" had caught up with her for 13 years of trolling other celebrities and using her platform to throw jabs and insults at her fellow A-listers.
However, month's later in 2022, Wendy Williams announced that she would infact be returning back to the limelight with her podcast which would represent an exciting, new chapter for her after the abrupt end of her long-running daytime show.
There had been several indications last week that there would be no podcast as a source close to the star had shared to The Sun that there would be no podcast.
"It's strange, because she is saying there is no podcast, but is also telling people she's going to return to TV. It's hard to figure out what is based in reality," the source added.
The last time Wendy spoke about the podcast was in Novemebr, 2022; claiming that it would debut in a few weeks.
Following the rousing speculations and publications about the Wendy Williams podcast, Shawn Zannoti; Wendy's publicist has spoken up.
“We are still working behind the scenes on several projects. There has been no official cancellation of the podcast,†Shawn Zanotti, tells Page six.
As of the time of this report, The Wendy Williams Experience Podcast Instagram account is still up and running and her site still active.
We can all but leave it to time to decide at this point, but whatever the outcome, we wish Wendy williams nothing short of the best.
