'Unconfirmed Ministerial Nominee' - Shehu Sani Throws Jab at El-Rufai

Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker, threw a pitiless jab at the former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, with his latest tweet on Tuesday.

Although he didn’t tag the said governor or mention his name, netizens suspected that the comment was directed at the ministerial nominee.

The former lawmaker tweet read, “The Unconfirmed Ministerial nominee; The Imp, who was intoxicated with power, and who arrogantly played God, is now at the mercy of those wielding power. A religious extremist with a fanatical political agenda should have no place in the seat of power if that nation desires peace”.

A tweep identified as @OwoBalo wrote, â€œ@ShehuSani you mean @elrufai actually sir? There are many people that actually shouldn’t be confirmed.”

Another person named Isaac Olatunde tweeted, “People like El Rufai should never be allowed to move close to governance. I am glad that Nigerians, via the National Assembly, have made this clear to him. Ahmed Lawan needs to learn from this Senate President”.

Someone else @Boma_Wills wrote, “Hopefully, he won’t be confirmed at all, but I won’t hold my breath on that one. Wicked people always win in Nigerian politics.”

A staunch supporter of El-Rufai, @mamatii001, tweeted â€œI av been expecting this. Someone who is down won’t let others rise. Even if @elrufai is not confirmed, he was a minister of FCT close to 8 years

Kaduna governor for eight years. A record that can never be beaten by Kaduna poly graduate who only enjoyed 4 years AC as senator”
