The stage is set for the semi-finals of the 2022/23 UEFA champions league semi-finals as four teams would go in search of a place in the final of the competition scheduled for Saturday, the 10th day of June 2023 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
In a repeat of last year’s semi-final fixture, Real Madrid would once again take on Manchester City who reached their fifth ever UCL semi-final and their 3rd consecutive semi-final of the competition. The first leg of the clash is scheduled to take place at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid on Tuesday, the 9th of May 2023 while the return leg at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester is scheduled for Wednesday, 17th May 2023.
The Milan derby between two of the most famous Italian teams in the competition with rich history is the other semi-final fixture with only one ‘Milan’ side set to progress although both home and away fixtures of this clash would be played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro) in Milan as the stadium is the home ground for both Milan teams. The first leg would be played on Wednesday the 10th day of May 2023, with Ac Milan playing as the hosts while the return leg is scheduled for Tuesday the 16th of May 2023, with Inter Milan featuring as the home team.
