TOO YOUNG? 19-YEAR OLD ‘STRANGER THINGS’ ACTRESS SPARKS ENGAGEMENT RUMUORS

Millie Bobby Brown, the 19-year-old actress famous for her role of Eleven on the global Netflix hit series ‘Stranger Things’ has sparked quite the conversation on social media after hinting an engagement to her lover; legendary singer Jon Bovi’s 20-year old son, James Bongiovi. 

On Tuesday morning, the teen actress posted a photo of her and Bongiovi, who was initially linked back in mid-2021, embracing near a body of water. She captioned her post with a line from a Taylor swift’s song, Lover:

“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all.”

While Jake—the son of singer Jon Bon Jovi shared some photos with Bobby—simply writing, “Forever.”

The media was quick to take note of the pretty diamond ring donned on her finger rousing the engagement speculations. 

Instagram pages for entities like MTV, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and singer Pixie Lott shared congratulatory messages in the comment section.

This announcement follows weeks of social media speculation that the couple had become engaged.

The couple first sparked romance rumours two years ago when they both stepped out hand-in-hand in New York City.

Millie officially introduced Bongiovi to her fans and followers in June 2021 with a photo of him posted to Instagram. The pair later confirmed they were a couple, quelling suspicions and rumours.

In another Instagram post in January, Brown called Bongiovi her “partner for life” and since then the couole began posting a string of pictures of themselves together and so posting a picture with an engagement ring and fitting lyrics was enough to set the hearts of stans, fans and shippers ablaze.

Not surprisingly, Millie Bobby Brown’s announcement swiftly became the topic of conversation online as many felt the actress was “too young” to be engaged.

“She’s 19” began trending on Twitter, as many users flocked to the app and expressed their thoughts about the couple’s decision.

Could this be an engagement for the books or just massive PR?

Fans and shippers alike have been waiting from an official confirmation from either side of the couple.

Several media, press and publication houses including E! News have reached out for a commentary from Millie’s rep. But have gotten none at the time of this report.
