TONTO DIKEH GAVE HER TWO CENTS TO NDLEA OVER NAIRA MARLEY'S ANTI DRUGS CAMPAIGN ENDORSEMENT.

Prominent Nigerian Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has voiced her thoughts on Naira Marley's recent advocacy visit to Buba Marwa, the chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The controversial singer paid a visit to NDLEA headquarters, expressing his support for the ongoing battle against drug abuse.

In a video shared by the agency, Naira Marley implored his fans and Nigerian youth to halt drug use due to its negative impact on their well-being. Nonetheless, Tonto Dikeh was not pleased with NDLEA's post about Naira Marley's visit, referring to them as “the most unserious set of folks.” She took to her Instagram account to air her concerns and even threatened to stop following NDLEA on the platform.

Clarifying that her frustration was not directed at Naira Marley himself, Dikeh indicated her readiness to engage in an interview, drug test, or discussion with NDLEA to explain her boldness in criticizing them. She stressed that her criticism was aimed at the government's handling of the matter rather than the artist.

Dikeh's comments have sparked a range of reactions among Nigerians, leading to active discussions about NDLEA's endorsement of Naira Marley's anti-drug abuse campaign. Naira Marley, known for his controversial reputation, has previously faced issues such as his involvement in a case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) related to credit card fraud.

The clash of opinions over NDLEA's stance on Naira Marley's initiative highlights the intricate and multifaceted nature of the discourse surrounding drug abuse in Nigeria.
