Tinubu has been sworn in as Nigeria’s President. He succeeds Muhammadu Buhari who leaves office today, Monday, May 29.
The Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, administered the oath of office to the President at 10:38 am.
The event was attended by several heads of state and other dignitaries.
Tinubu become the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
