Media personality and podcast host, Nedu has gotten many talking as he spoke about the dark side of the music industry.
In wake of young Nigerian singer, Mohbad’s death and the controversies surrounding it, Nedu said the music industry is very dark.
He noted how he has been in the entertainment industry as a radio presenter for over 13 years and has observed the rise and fall of Nigerian music artists.

The well-known OAP emphasized how dark the music business is before talking about how everyone there wants to be well-known.
He went on to say that success is fleeting and that up-and-coming musicians should make the most of their success.
He counseled aspiring artists to cease seeking approval and instead achieve something valuable using Mohbad's passing as an example.

Show promoter, Paul Okoye while mourning Mohbad, revealed how the singer opened up on his fears, harassment, and depression.
He noted how despite it all, he remained resilient, and full of life, unfortunately, his shining light had been cut short.

In the wake of his death, actress, Wumi Toriola spoke out on the detriment of godfatherism in the entertainment industry.
She noted how any deadly mistakes can lead to the death of anyone who has a godfather or godmother, and how such people block intending helpers for their godsons/daughters, cancel their opportunities, breed more hate for them, and lots more.

Also, Popular comedian, Oghenekowhoyan Onaibe Desmond also known as Destalker, had recounted how some colleagues struck his name over godfatherism.
The 39-year-old stated that his growth in the industry was being hindered by many people over anti-fatherism attitude.
Mentioning names, he said his name had been struck out in several ways in the past with some prospective sponsors referencing senior colleagues.
