Temmie Ovwasa is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She was born on November 29, 1996, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. She is also known by her stage name YBNL Princess, which she was given after being signed to YBNL Nation, a popular Nigerian record label. 


Temmie developed an interest in music at a young age and began playing the guitar when she was just eight years old. She later began writing her music and performing at local events and competitions. In 2016, she auditioned for the fifth season of the reality TV show Project Fame West Africa, where she impressed the judges with her vocal talent and stage presence. 


In the same year, Temmie was signed to YBNL Nation, which is owned by popular Nigerian rapper Olamide. She released her debut single, "Jabole," in 2016, which was produced by Pheelz. The song received critical acclaim and was well-received by fans, cementing Temmie's position as a rising star in the Nigerian music industry. 


Since then, Temmie has released several other singles, including "Afefe," "Bamidele," and "Holy Water." Her music is a fusion of different genres, including Afro-pop, R&B, and soul. Her lyrics are often introspective and explore themes such as love, self-discovery, and personal growth.
