Sit-at-Home: Enugu State Gov't Seals Shops Observing the Order

It was reported earlier on Monday that there was a counter-protest against the Sit-at-Home Order that has been agreed by all the stakeholders to end as such the Enugu State Government has asked her citizens to come out and do their business even on a day supposedly for Sit-at-Home.

In addition to ensuring strict compliance with the new order of operating business on Monday, the Enugu State Government on Monday sealed shops in major markets across the state that refused to do business in observance of the sit-at-home order of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The team was led by the Secretary to the State Government, Chidiebere Onyia, from the Enugu State Capital Territory Development Authority, the operation was aimed at demonstrating seriousness on the part of the government.

He added that it was to support those that showed their willingness to comply with the government directives.
