“SHAME ON YOU REMA, I’M DELETING ALL YOUR SONGS” REALITY STAR GIFTY LAYS BOLD ACCUSATIONS AT REMA

Recently, the Ethiopian government made headlines by cancelling Rema's eagerly anticipated concert there. Concerns about alleged satanic connotations in the artist's work led to this decision.
Gifty Powers, a former Big Brother Naija contestant, has since entered the debate and accused Rema of openly endorsing satanism through his songs and pictures.

Gifty Powers made complaints and accusations against Rema on social media. She said that after doing her own independent study, she had come to the conclusion that Rema was certainly advocating demonic themes in his art.

In her own words she says;

“To Rema, shame on you. I couldn’t believe it untill researched it myself and found out REMA wore a necklace with a burned church turned upside down, like…
The rate at people selling their souls to this idiotic devil eh!! Y’all think hell isn’t real…ok nahh. All these are for fame and money. SMH
Then watched the video of him and Madonna hugging. I knew he had already joined the 666, As the saying goes “Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are”…..You just lost a Fan. I’m deleting all your songs from my playlist. Nobody messes with my religion (Christianity)”

In spite of these accusations, his album Rave & Roses has achieved enormous success in the Afrobeat music industry. The album was able to land a place on the Billboard 200 chart next to renowned Nigerian albums like "Made in Lagos."
One billion streams of the "Rave & Roses" deluxe edition alone on Spotify is astounding.
