Ronaldo left frustrated as Al-Ittihad are crowned champions of the Saudi Professional league.

Al Nassr’s 1-1 draw with Ettifaq at the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam means Ronaldo and his team would finish the season without a major trophy as they have lost the league title to Al-Ittihad FC.

Since joining as a free agent in January, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 14 league goals and registered 2 assists for his new side but his efforts have been left unappreciated as his team would not be winning a silverware this season leaving the veteran legend without a trophy in his first season at the club and he certainly could not hide his frustrations after his team failed to win the match.

Al-Ittihad have won the league title for the first time since 2009 and their 9th in the club’s history thanks to their manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
