Through the internet, blessing has used her Instagram account to “damage the reputation of Folashade Samuel and the late Bimbo Ogbonna, by exposing them to hatred, contempt, and ridicule.â€
She entered a not guilty plea after hearing the accusations. The sitting court, Yelim Bogoro, decided to put her in the care of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) until May 30 so that her bail application could be heard.
A well-known car dealer in Lagos known as IVD, Mr. Ikechukwu Ogbonna, has been charged with murdering his wife. A fire that broke out in their home claimed the businessman's wife's life. A history of domestic abuse between the pair, which may have contributed to the young woman's demise, was also said to have occurred.
In January, at their Lekki home, a sister of Bimbo said that IVD had killed his wife. The rumored link between Blessing and the famous car dealer was addressed.
