Popular Instagram Relationship Expert Blessing Okoropopularly known as blessing CEO, has been remanded in prison for alleged cyber-bulling.
A federal high court sitting in Lagos ordered the remand of the Instagram Influencer. According to the Lagos State PPRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a chat with online media platform, The Cable Lifestyle, on Saturday said Blessing was arrested by operatives of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).
Blessing CEO was arraigned on a six count charge of alleged, cyber bullying, libel and for exhibition of uncensored movies.
Rotshan Dimka, the prosecution counsel, told the court on Friday that Blessing used her Instagram page to “bully, threaten and harass†Folashade Samuels, sister to the late Bimbo Ogbonna, wife of Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD.
More so, Dimka said Blessing deployed her Instagram handle “to injure the reputation of Folashade Samuels and the late Bimbo Ogbonna, by exposing them to hate and ridiculeâ€, via the internet.
When the charges were read to Blessing, she pleaded not guilty.
Justice Yelim Bogoro, in a court sitting on Friday, March 31, remanded Blessing CEO in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services, NCOS till May 30 for a hearing of her bail application.
Blessing CEO was reportedly arrested on Thursday morning March 30th over her involvement in celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, Known as IVD, and his late wife Bimbo Ogbonna’s case.
Ikechukwu Ogbonna popularly known as IVD, is a popular Lagos ‘celebrity’ car dealer who has been accused of being responsible for the death of his wife. The businessman’s wife died in a fire that occurred in their home.
However, it had also been alleged that the couple had been in a series of domestic violence in the past, which may have led to Bimbo Ogbonna’s death.
In January, Blessing addressed her rumored relationship with the celebrity dealer.
It was reported that the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, David Hundeyin, confirmed that Blessing was arrested by the Force CID in Abuja.
