Real Madrid are the Copa del Rey champions for the 20th time in their history after defeating Osasuna 2-1 in the final at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Sevilla.
Real Madrid took the lead after just 109 seconds through Rodrygo Goes after being set up by fellow Brazilian team mate, Vinicius Junior. Lucas Torro scored an equalizer for Osasuna in the 58th minute but Rodrygo was yet again in the right place at the right time to pounce on a loose ball in the box to grab the winner for Madrid in the 70th minute.
Carlo Ancelotti won his 10th trophy as a Real Madrid manager helping the Spanish club win the Copa del Rey for the 20th time in their history, a cup they hadn’t won in 9 years.
