Popular Nigerian singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk monotonously called Iyanya has taken the ‘secret’ lady he saw at Davido’s timeless concert slated last week in Lagos state on a date.
Despite warnings from her alleged boyfriend, the Kukere singer took her on the promised date, even sharing videos of their reported date on Sunday, 30th April via his twitter account.
It would be recalled that last week, Iyanya had taken to Twitter to announce his intention to find a certain lady who made certain seductive gestures at him while the singer performed at Davido’s ‘Timeless’ concert few days prior. He claimed to notice the girl’s interest in him but he had to ‘focus on the job’ at the time. After the concert though, he was suddenly willing to find her.
He would eventually return to Twitter with an update that he had found the girl; proceeding to post her pictures.
The ‘search’ however, stirred mixed reactions across social media platforms where many referred it as desperate and even garnered a reaction from a user who claimed to be the girl-in-question’s boyfriend. The user @Oba_West_ threatened the singer and urged him to “take down his girlfriend’s pictures†which the star singer ignored.
In a recent tweet, Iyanya shares a video of himself having breakfast with the said lady at a buffet restaurant, captioning it “breakfastâ€
Iyanya’s date with the lady has now roused a new wave of backlash as many termed his move as chasing clout, with many wondering why he would go on a date with another man’s girlfriend and do so publicly.
